The tundra is a biome that is split into two types of
variations are the Arctic and the Alpines
we will talk the temperature, human use, rainfall and characteristics
about these variations.
Firstly the arctic is the coldest climate known to man the tempura regularly dips to -34c the arctic biomes are normal found at high latitudes near the poles. Not much life exists in this biome there is not much life.
Furthermore there is the alpine biome also known as Taiga biome is found at high altitudes like the area around mount Everest. The amount of rainfall that falls comes as snow and around about 150 to 250mm fall annually. The Tundra biome is not every suitable for human life as it there is no food supply and its too cool and too little rain fall to sustain human life.
To sum up the tundra biome
- Is the coldest environment
- Very arid and has little life
- Not very suitable for human life -Normally found at the high latitude
